Giveaway! Runner’s Guide: One More Mile

Today I’m excited to bring you a review and giveaway from one of my absolute favorite running shirt companies – One More Mile!  Their specialty is funny running slogans, and they have a ton you can choose from on their website!  They have a number of Disney related running slogans, including “Forget the Glass Slippers – this Princess wears running shoes!”, “3.1, 6.2, 13.1, 26.2… this was a Dopey idea!” and “13.1 Miles – run like a Princess” with a crown.

For this review I chose a Star Wars inspired shirt, which seems especially appropriate now that there is a RunDisney Star Wars race!  I loved the cleverness of this slogan “May the course be with you.”  The perfect way to tie in Star Wars and running!

They sent me this shirt in their new Heather Tech material, and it is super comfy and perfect for running.  I wear this shirt a lot, especially when it’s warm out, because it feels so light and airy.  Now that it’s summer and it’s hot this is just what I need.  It doesn’t feel all sweaty and gross after a run (even though the rest of me does!).  In fact, I’m sitting here wearing it right now because I just finished my run for today!

In fact, I ended up loving One More Mile so much I now own some of their other shirts as well.  I now own “Forget the Glass Slippers – this Princess Wears Running Shoes!” in their burnout plum, which is a cool look.  I also have “Will Run for Wine,” which I wore to my 5k at a winery, and the Star Trek dork in me couldn’t resist “Run Long and Prosper!”  By the way, is there any better way to end a run with wine and cupcakes?  I also wasn’t the only one with this shirt at the race!  These shirts were their diamond knit material, which was also quite comfy and looked nice.

But the most exciting thing is that One More Mile hosts a monthly contest to come up with a new slogan.  I suggested “Will Run for Dole Whip,” and I won!  So that is now a shirt option as well that I’m sure will be popular with Disney fans.  I absolutely love how they did the design for this – complete with a picture of a dole whip!  The winner of the contest is selected by who gets the most votes, and while I had a lot of friends and family vote for me, I know I probably had a good amount of Disney in your Day readers helping as well!  So to say thank you, I’m going to be giving away one of these new shirts.
